Dana Lovell

Dana is no stranger to the horse world. She has been starting horses and training the public for the last 13 years. Besides training, she shows both ranch riding and cow horse. This gifted clinician participates in Extreme Mustang Makeover, as well as, Extreme Cowboy Races. She has multiple championships and year end awards to her name in several different disciplines from dressage to ranch riding. She takes great pride to have started and trained many horses and riders that have gone on to perform at the top of their disciplines.
Through clinics and horsemanship lessons, she wants to continue to help riders better communicate with their horses and create a stronger partnership and greater performance regardless of the discipline. She, also, would like to continue helping motivate horsemen and women to learn the foundation of colt starting to create safe and successful first rides. Personally, her ultimate goal is to qualify and compete at the AQHQ World Show in ranch riding.
Being involved with Team Equine has been an honor for Dana. She is proud to help represent a company that sincerely cares about their customers and the quality and performance of their products. It means a great deal to her that her opinions and feedback are heard and considered. She feels that it is amazing to be a part of a company that is passionate, driven, and committed to bringing the horse industry custom gear that performs and looks good doing it.
Along with Team Equine protective boots, she uses Impact Force Deflection saddle pads. She customizes these pads to her preferences and needs. The high wither cut comes up into the pommel of the saddle allowing for airflow and preventing her horses’ withers from being pressed. The Impact Deflection design evenly distributes the weight of saddle and rider preventing any pressure points or sore spots. The quality wool underside whisks moisture and doesn’t trap heat keeping her horse’s back cooler. With a comfortable and happy horse, she can be more productive, whether it’s teaching a colt how to carry a rider, or in the show ring in front of a judge. The protective boots provide the support her horses need during strenuous activity, and the Simple Strap System is convenient and quick to use.
Her advice to any first time Team Equine customer is to not be afraid to ask questions. They are more than willing to help you decide which product and options would be the best for you and your equine partner.
