Sammy Lemon

Like many rodeo athletes, Sammy began barrel racing at local events as a child. She then began to travel to rodeos and enter the junior barrel races. With a couple years under her belt, she began goat tying as well.
This led her to be a three-time Idaho state qualifier in barrels, poles, and goat tying. For two years Sammy, was the Reserve All Around Champion in the Central Idaho Rodeo Association. Last year, she was the champion goat tyer in the same association. She was also the High Point Champion in the Louis-Clark Saddle Club.
Now in college rodeo, her goal is to make it to the nationals in both barrel racing and goat tying. In the future, her desire is to get her WPRA card and one day make the American and the NFR.
She is truly excited for the great opportunity to represent Team Equine. She feels that their saddle pads give her horse the comfort she needs to perform at her best. She encourages anyone that wants to be successful in the sport of rodeo to give Team Equine a chance.
