Anyone that follows the sport of barrel racing knows the name Brenda Mays. This 6x NFR Qualifier was introduced to the sport by her mom who was also a barrel racer. In fact, she qualified for the NFR in 1975. As a four year old, Brenda's love of running barrels began and she has never looked back. Her resume is extensive. Besides the fore mentioned 6 qualifications to the Super Bowl of rodeo, she is a 5x Columbia River Circuit Champion. Her wins include Salinas and Cheyenne Frontier Days, and she was also the 2012 NFR Average Champion.
Already so accomplished, she wishes to continue going to rodeos as long as she has the horses. Holding clinics and passing on her knowledge is also important to Brenda.
She has loved being involved with Team Equine because it's a family owned company, and they have always treated her like she was part of that family. Her trailer is loaded down with Team Equine saddle pads, protective boots, and cinches. With the pads being special made to fit her horses, she can use multiple saddles if needed. With the cinches, she doesn't have to cinch her horse as tight, and it keeps the saddle in place. The protective boots give that extra support she is looking for, and it's an added bonus that they are easy to put on. She encourages everyone to contact Team Equine, because they can answer all of your questions and are very willing to help get you started on finding the right pad for you.
